By: Gus Griesinger

NAMM got busy as DAY 2 picked up where Day 1 left off. First off was an interview with 2011 Playboy Playmate of the year Claire Sinclaire at the Clayton guitar picks booth. Then at Carvin Amplifiers (which was right next to Clayton) we took in the unveiling of the new Steve Vai amp at. We then stoped by the Paul Reed smith booth to say hello to Dave Navarro of Janes Addiction and then we stayed for their artist press conference. Here we got photos of Karl Fredrik Henry Åkesson and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth, Jeff Tuttlem of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Orianthi of the Alice Cooper Band, Neal Schon of Journey, Marc Tremonti of Alter Bridge/Creed, Alex Grossi of Quiet Riot, Howard Leese of the Paul Rodgers Band, blues guitarist David Grissom, and owner and founder of the company Mr. Paul Reed Smith himself.

We also snagged a photo of Diane Daybrow holding a new product called an "IZZY." Its an saxophone cleaner and you can get it form HW Products she tells us. A photo of Rob Halford holding up a golden microphone that was presented to him by Shure Microphones. Also a photo of Earth wind and Fire bassist Verdine White is posted.
