What better way to start the year than with Backstageaxxess.com and the NAMM expo in Anaheim, California? I can’t think of any. We were able to cover all four (4) days of the NAMM Expo and will bring you as much as we can in the next four installments including Day 1, Thursday. On day 1, we were able to take in many events. Dave Mustaine’s press conference with Marshall Amplifiers was up first. The new amplifier called the Megastack was unveiled. Right after, we stopped by the Fuch’s booth to have a chat with Black Veil Brides. Next up was a trip over to Taylor Guitars with the press conference of Serj Tankian. Serj debuted his new signature guitar with a song to go along with it. Afterward, he was grateful to spend a couple of minutes with us: http://www.backstageaxxess.com/index.php/interviews/189-serjinterview.
Continuing on Thursday, we were also able to nail down short interviews with Michael Anthony of Chickenfoot, Dave Amato of Reo Speedwagon, and a great new band called Age of Evil. Day 1 shaped up to be pretty busy, so here is some of the footage from these events and more. Hope you enjoy!
