Sunday was Day 4 and the last day of NAMM. This is the slowest day and usually a day reserved more for the exhibitors and buyers. There are almost no artist signings. We stopped by the Arturia booth and talked to friend and keyboardist for Lita Ford, Missing Persons, and Hardline, Michael T. Ross. We also did some walking around to visit some sights we were unable to visit during the previous three (3) days. There was a booth, called Two Old Hippies, that had an amazing 60’s theme complete with a Volkswagen Hippie Bus. We also took a walk by Kort where they had a backdrop to promote KISS bassist Gene Simmons' axe bass. Keeping with the KISS theme, we stopped by Washburn Guitars where there was a section on a wall dedicated to the guitars of the KISS frontman Paul Stanley. We then made our way to Rockett Drum works to interview the man behind the business, Poison drummer Rikki Rockett. After chatting it up with Rikki, I was able to spot Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez. He promised us an interview and he then was able to deliver in a big way. You can check out the interview right here:  http://www.backstageaxxess.com/index.php/interviews/193-mikeinezint.
Other sights we saw included a guy dressed like Gene Simmons of KISS and Elvis all in one, so he was appropriately called Elviss. We stumbled upon the batmobile down on the basement level. We also saw an amazing Steve Vai display to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of his album ‘Passion and Warfare.’  All in all, a very busy 2010 NAMM and already looking forward to see what the future holds for 2011!!
